Quality Assurance and Accreditation Manager

Sahapudeen is the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Manager at SPAA. Before joining SPAA, Sahap worked in federal diplomatic and private institutions. He has accumulated 22 years of experience in a private higher education institution in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E, with an extensive background in Higher Education Quality Assurance and Programme Accreditation. He boasts a demonstrated history of working in institutions licensed and approved by the U.A.E Ministry of Education. Sahap is skilled in Organizational Management, Data Analysis, Statistics, Program Evaluation, Curriculum Development, Program Accreditation, and Leadership.

He earned his master’s degree in Information Technology from Alagappa University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology from Anna University, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, India.

His career commenced in 1999 as an IT Lecturer, teaching various Software Applications, programming, Project Management, and Networking Subjects. He served as the Head of Faculty and later as the Head of the Institution in a branch campus in Al-Ain, U.A.E for 10 years.

Sahap has achieved excellence in managing institutional effectiveness and the college registry, leading and gaining accreditations, and securing college re-licensures since 2009.

Since 2009, his profile has showcased numerous achievements in implementing the Quality Assurance Framework in higher educational institutions. This framework measures the effectiveness of academic and support services. Sahap monitors and advises on the institutional and educational quality management system, develops systematic evaluations of teaching, learning, and related processes, and provides valuable insights and enhancements to academic and section performance.
