Katherine Liu

Katherine (Jiayuan) earned a BA in Fashion Design and Engineering from Shanghai Donghua University. She worked at industrial garments company and big-scale theaters for the last 8 years. She has experience in garment patterns, sewing, costume construction, and theater wardrobe management.

Katherine has lived in Dubai for the last 5 years. She worked in La Perle(Habtoor) Theater and  EXPO 2020 Al Wasl Plaza as the Head of Wardrobe. Before that, she worked in the Han Show wardrobe department in Wuhan China, which is the first water acrobatic show in China produced by Franco Dragon. She worked with multiple production teams to create the shows and maintain the wardrobe team to support daily shows.

Katherine is excited to join Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) and work alongside Andrea Forde(Costume Tutor), to share her costume professional experience in the entertainment industry.
