Programme Leader - Musical Theatre

Paul is a theatre practitioner, actor and Olivier Award-nominated theatre producer.

Paul won the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship to train at ArtsEd in London and made his West End debut in Cameron Mackintosh’s The Witches of Eastwick at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Other credits include Jamie in The Last Five Years at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, Princeton and Rod in Avenue Q at Wyndham’s Theatre, Nick Piazza in the National tour of Fame, Evita in Beirut, UK tours of Saturday Night Fever and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, the international tour of Mamma Mia! and Tobias in Sweeney Todd at the Gothenburg Opera. Paul made his Broadway debut in Lance Horne: First Things Last at New York’s Lincoln Center.

He co-founded and was Associate Director of the West End’s Notes from New York concert series, for which he headlined shows at the Donmar Warehouse, the Arts Theatre, and Trafalgar Studios, and its seasonal strand Christmas in New York at the Apollo, Lyric, and Prince of Wales theatres respectively.

Paul has released original cast recordings of Michael Bruce: Unwritten Songs, A Spoonful of Stiles & Drewe, Stiles & Drewe’s Peter Pan, Christmas in New York, Dougal Irvine’s Departure Lounge, Julie Atherton: No Space for Air and Helena Blackman: The Sound of Rodgers & Hammerstein.

He produced the Whatsonstage Award-winning Idina Menzel at the Royal Albert Hall conducted by Marvin Hamlisch with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Alan Cumming: I Bought a Blue Car Today at the Vaudeville Theatre, Will and Grace’s Megan Mullally & Supreme Music Program also at the Vaudeville Theatre, tick, tick… BOOM! at the Duchess Theatre, Jason Robert Brown & Anika Noni Rose and the Olivier Award-nominated production of JB Priestley’s When We Are Married, both at the Garrick Theatre.

Paul’s educational experience includes direction and choreography at ArtsEd, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Urdang, Aiglon College in Switzerland and many of the world’s most prestigious international Schools as part of his work with Arts International. He is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Manchester University.
