Overview

These classes aim to develop style, technique, muscle tone, strength and performance skills. Students will gain awareness, greater self-confidence, while improving overall wellbeing.

Contemporary Dance

Contemporary dance is an expressive dance style that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, ballet and lyrical. Contemporary dance aims to connect dancers with the mind and body.

During our Contemporary dance classes students will explore a variety of contemporary techniques including improvisation, floorwork, balance, swing and tilt. Contemporary dance students will also explore a variety of movement to various styles of music, allowing greater personal expression and emotion through their performance.

Street Dance / Hip-Hop

A fun and funky dance class – incorporating essential components of street dance/hip-hop, including rhythm, personality, uniqueness, creativity, and social interaction.

ISTD Ballet

The Imperial Classical Ballet Faculty offers a comprehensive programme of competitions and events to foster participation in Imperial Ballet for young children, vocational students, and teachers. Adjudicated and delivered by professional classical ballet dancers and leading ballet teachers and examiners they are designed to inspire dancers of all ages and support them on their Imperial Classical Ballet journey. We teach from Pre-Primary to Advanced 1.

ISTD Modern/Jazz Dance

A really varied form of dance, Modern/Jazz incorporates many different styles from lyrical to funky and everything in between! A lot of emphasis is given to stretching and strengthening the body with lots of floor and limbering exercises. Following the ISTD syllabi, we offer Modern/Jazz classes from the age of 6 years. ISTD Modern/Jazz dance students have the option to take ISTD examinations.

Programme Fees

The Academy works on a 10/12-week term; classes are to be paid in advance for the full 10/12 weeks, as we do not offer a “pay-as-you” go option. We fully appreciate your commitment.

Once we have your registration, we will send an invoice for the total amount due.

Fees can be paid online, via BACS or by card at the Academy. All our bank information will be attached to the invoice. 

New students will have a 125 AED registration/administration fee applied to their invoices.
