Lynne Holloway is a distinguished educator with a prolific career dedicated to advancing educational excellence in the performing arts. With over 22 years of experience, Lynne has been pivotal in developing and enhancing BTEC performing arts programmes across the MENA region. Her expertise includes designing engaging curricula, fostering student involvement, and optimising both classroom and remote learning environments for educators and learners.
Lynne holds an MSc In Psychology and Neuroscience and PGCE and has earned prestigious fellowships from the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Her academic journey includes postgraduate studies at Liverpool University and King’s College London, where she has significantly contributed to global academic practice. Her role at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland further underscores her commitment to social progress, earning her the esteemed SFRSA and FHEA accolades.
In addition to her academic and performing arts achievements, Lynne has excelled as Director of an Experiential Marketing Events Company with a global presence. In this role, she led a dynamic team in creating immersive marketing experiences and events that promote sustainable brands, integrating her leadership and creativity within the broader creative arts sector.
In the UK, Lynne’s leadership experience includes a notable seven-year tenure as a versatile tutor at the GSA Conservatoire. Her primary focus is on creating impactful opportunities for educators and students, guiding them towards prestigious programmes at leading higher education institutions.
Lynne’s commitment extends internationally, with a strong dedication to fostering educational opportunities for students in the UAE. Her efforts contribute to economic growth by harnessing student talents and skills, emphasising professional development through community engagement and mentorship programmes.
As the founder and owner of the Cheshire West School of Ballet, Lynne played a crucial role in nurturing community dance and providing numerous performing opportunities for students across Northwest England.
Her theatrical career includes performances in acclaimed productions such as “My Fair Lady,” “Oklahoma” (as Dream Lori), “Grease,” and “The Way to Keep Him,” at renowned venues like the Criterion Theatre in London and the Empire Theatre in Liverpool. Lynne has participated in significant events, including the Royal British Legion’s Remembrance Festival, where she performed as a backing dancer and vocalist for Katherine Jenkins at the Royal Albert Hall. Her vocal contributions extend to collaborations with artists such as Candi Staton and K-Klass, and she has performed in pantomimes including “Snow White” and “Aladdin” for UK productions. Lynne’s choreographic work spans numerous shows, including collaborations with institutions like GSA Conservatoire, the ECHO Arena Liverpool, St. Helens Theatre Royal, the Everyman Theatre, and the Liverpool Empire.
Lynne is deeply appreciative of her role as a founding faculty member at SPAA, where she continues to contribute to the academy’s growth by providing higher education training to tutors, BA students, and young performers. In her Sixth year with the academy, Lynne remains dedicated to imparting her knowledge of psychology and neuroscience through the medium of movement, enriching the creative and artistic fields with her specialised expertise.
