SPAA went to La Perle!

Sharjah Performing Arts Academy Students Delighted by Exclusive Backstage Tour of La Perle SPAA students recently had an incredible opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the inner workings of one of Dubai's most spectacular shows, La Perle by Dragone. The Stage Management Major students were given an exclusive backstage tour of the show, which is known for its awe-inspiring stunts and breathtaking special effects. The visit was made even more special with a Q&A session with Robert Winch, the Resident Artistic Director, and Karena Letham, the General Stage Manager. The students were able to learn about the behind-the-scenes aspects of the production and ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the show. Following the tour, the students were treated to a live performance of La Perle, which left them in awe. La Perle is the region's first permanent show and has been entertaining audiences since its inception. The show is a collaboration between Franco Dragone, one of the world's most renowned creative directors, and the Al Habtoor Group, one of the UAE's leading conglomerates. SPAA is thrilled to be given this opportunity and expressed their appreciation to the La Perle team, Robert Winch, and Karena Letham for making the visit possible. The students were impressed by the scale of the production and the level of artistry involved in creating such a spectacular show.
