Modern-day 'Rapunzel' play coming to Sharjah Performing Arts Academy

Rapunzel is one of the most beloved fairy tales, no matter whether the adaptation is in print or on-screen. Everyone in the world knows the story of the long-haired princess who is trapped by an evil witch in a tall tower before being rescued by a prince who climbs up her flowing locks. And now an interactive theatre production of the show is coming to Sharjah this December. The Sharjah Performing Arts Academy’s The Girl With Incredibly Long Hair is a reimagined version of the classic story made for modern times. Kids will get to experience the sights, sounds, and smells as the action unfolds on stage and around them. The interactive play, which takes place on Thursday, December 12 at 7 pm and on Friday, December 13 at 5 pm and 7 pm, is suitable for children in years one to five. Tickets start at Dhs40.
