Zenon Kruszelnicki
Lead Tutor - Acting
Zenon earned a Master of Fine Arts (Theater Directing) from the Actors Studio Drama School at the New School University, USA, and a Master of Fine Arts (Acting and Puppetry) from the National Academy of Theatre Arts, Poland.
During his studies, Zenon worked with Rena Mirecka and Zygmunt Molik, actors at Jerzy Grotowski’s Laboratory Theater, on improvisation within structure, montage of physical action, plastic exercises and vocal production.
Zenon directed and taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and New York Film Academy in New York City, USA, and annually directed at SUNY Purchase, one of the leading conservatoires in the USA. Zenon has also served as a dialect coach for Willem Dafoe and collaborated with the Wooster Group on a production entitled Poor Theater.
Zenon was the Liberace Scholar awarded by the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts. Zenon also has the honour of being a lifetime member of The Actors Studio, the International Federation of Actors, Stage Directors and Choreographers, Screen Actors Guild (SAG/AFTRA) in the USA, and Actors Equity in Poland.
He taught a workshop at the London’s Studio National Theatre for emerging directors, presenting The Graphical Method of Text Analysis and Making the Graphical Production Project of The Cherry Orchard, and taught acting workshops at London’s Central School of Speech & Drama and around the World.
