Kathleen Bell
Lead Tutor of Research and Singing
Kathleen Mary Bell is a highly qualified voice educator, currently serving as the Lead Tutor of Research and Singing. She holds a BM and MM in Vocal Performance, along with a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Voice Pedagogy, reflecting her extensive academic background in voice science and vocal pedagogy.
Kathleen has earned a DMA in Voice Pedagogy and is certified in Vocology, as well as certified in all three levels of Somatic VoiceWork. Her areas of expertise include vocology, vocal health, voice science, and both contemporary and classical singing styles. She is deeply interested in practice-based research, arts in practice, and teaching adult learners, with a focus on higher education teaching styles.
Kathleen is an internationally recognized faculty presenter with various voice organizations, including the International Congress of Voice Teachers, Music Theatre Educators Alliance, Pan American Vocology Association, and The Voice Foundation. She is also a trained vocologist by the National Center for Voice and Speech. Her expertise in vocal pedagogy has led her to present at numerous prestigious events worldwide.

Kathleen has also contributed to numerous workshops and presentations on vocal health and pedagogical practices, including topics related to Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) and its effects on singers.
