Jessica Cotton is a skilled educator, performer, and a well-recognized vocalist in the UAE music scene. She has collaborated with many of the UAE's top musicians and performed at prestigious events and venues, including Dubai Opera, Madinat Theatre, and DUCTAC. Additionally, she has been a featured performer for esteemed companies such as EMAAR, Jumeirah Group, First Gulf Bank, ITP Group, Time Out, and JD, further establishing herself as a sought-after artist for high-profile events.

As a Lead Tutor and Course Coordinator at Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA), Jessica plays an integral role in the development and delivery of performing arts education across multiple programs. She teaches students from the Children & Young Performers (CYP) program, BTEC Level 2, and the BA course in Acting and Musical Theatre. Her teaching philosophy is centered on creativity and inclusivity, creating an environment where students feel free to express their individuality while refining their skills. Jessica designs comprehensive lesson plans that engage students at every level, helping them grow both as performers and individuals.
Beyond teaching, Jessica works closely with SPAA leadership to develop and implement Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs), collaborating with local schools and communities to provide enriching arts programs. Her commitment to community engagement ensures that performing arts education remains accessible and impactful for a wide range of students across the region.
In addition to her academic role, Jessica manages various aspects of program administration, including enrolment, timetabling, and parent liaison, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication with all stakeholders. With over 13 years of experience in performing arts education and 12 years of performance in the UAE, Jessica continues to contribute to the region’s artistic landscape through her dedication to both teaching and performing.
Outside of her professional commitments, Jessica is passionate about fitness, particularly boxing, hiking, and dancing. She believes that staying active fuels her creativity and keeps her energized for her work in both education and performance. Whether exploring new hiking trails or practicing boxing for strength and focus, Jessica brings the same dedication to her hobbies as she does to her career.
