Anré Fourie
Programme Leader - Production Arts

Anré Fourie currently serves as the Programme Leader for Production Arts at Sharjah Performing Arts Academy. With a career spanning over 20 years in tertiary education, she has been part of countless theatrical celebrations across various disciplines, including design, construction, scenic art, costumes, sound, lighting, and makeup. Along the way, she has had the privilege of receiving several awards for teaching and leadership.
At the academy, she not only teaches but also leads a team of exceptionally dedicated and talented staff—each an artist and specialist in their field.
Teaching is, without a doubt, her calling: "In that fleeting moment when a student’s eyes meet hers and their curiosity ignites, she feels it—an undeniable spark that tells her she is exactly where she needs to be. Her passion for teaching and her artistic soul merge with their ambition and hunger to create. In that space, the magic of theatre happens. It is where the art of nurturing meets the heart of creation, where students grow, flourish, and become the very artists they aspire to be. This is the moment when education transforms into a theatrical production—alive, electric, and full of infinite possibilities."
