Girges joins the SPAA team with over 16 years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Girges has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked for several well-known hotelier brands, including Hilton, Fairmont, and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
Girges’ professional career highlights include six years as Assistant Operations Manager at the Fairmont Hotel in Cairo, where he was in charge of diplomatic visits from the United States and the United Arab Emirates embassies, and worked as an Assistant Company and Resource Manager for La Perle D.X.B.
Girges holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hotel Management from Helwan University in Egypt. Additional training includes Online leadership skills and trainer-of-trainers certificates offered by E. Cornell University, as well as the Proficient in Front Desk Upselling (T.S.A. Company), the Craft Training Certificate, and the Fairmont Leadership Promise course.
Girges enjoys a variety of activities outside of work, including travelling, cycling, soccer, and snorkelling.
