Febin Thomas

1Febin joins SPAA with more than 6 years’ experience working in areas of Sound Engineering throughout India and the UAE.

As an expert Sound Engineer, Febin has vast experience in live sound, Arab band mixing, Pro Tools, studio recording, television broadcasting, audio encoding/decoding, music production and multi track board operation.

Having graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute, Chennai, Febin’s professional experiences extended across recording in studios, formulating sound recordings, managing recording equipment and overseeing all technical areas related to audio production.

Febin came to the UAE in 2014 as a Senior Live Sound Engineer for an audio visual company where he quickly became a core and valued member of the company. In 2016 Febin moved to the prestigious firm, Dubai Parks and Resorts (DPR), as a Technical Team Leader. This helped him gain immense experience and knowledge in day to day operations and handling major events. He was an integral part of the team who handled the show, Jaan-E-Jigar at Rajmahal Theatre, assisting the core team with Audio and Sound preparations.

Febin also has vast experience working across a variety of events, such as conferences, exhibitions and award ceremonies throughout the UAE.

Febin’s career accomplishments also include:

• Member of the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum in 2014
• Involved in the Special Olympics held in the UAE, March 2019.
