Lynne Holloway FRSA

Deputy Manager - Children and Young Performers

Lynne is a creative and focussed teacher with a passion for promoting dance education. She has more than 15 years’ experience creating impactful learning in many different establishments.

Lynne began her career at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester England. She gained a First Class Honours Degree in Acting at the GSA Conservatoire in Surrey and later became a resident teacher there for several years. She is an affiliate member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and is currently the only registered teacher of all four disciplines (Ballet, Modern, Tap and National) in the UAE. Lynne is leading SPAA's implementation of the BTEC course.

In the UK, Lynne offered a broad range of teaching and leadership experiences within the theatre and the classroom, creating opportunities for students to progress onto associate programs with leading schools, including the Royal Ballet School.  She has also tutored students to obtain degree placements in Musical Theatre, Dance and Drama at GSA, Laine Theatre Arts and RADA, to name but a few.

Lynne was the Head teacher and Founder of  Cheshire West School of Ballet.

Her earlier career included performing at the Royal Albert Hall for her Royal Highness in the Festival of Remembrance and was a backing vocalist for Candi Statton in her re- release of Young Hearts Run Free. Lynne travelled extensively working for P&O Cruises and toured internationally with QDOS International, playing Jasmine in Aladdin.

 Lynne’s dance credits include Oklahoma, Anything Goes, Snow White, Cinderella, Mother Goose (Liverpool Empire), as well as a performer in Ken Dodd’s resident shows at the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool.
