Andrea Forde FHEA

Andrea’s CV includes Fashion design, Costume design, theming, personal styling, production buying for theatre, film, television, corporate and public events.

After studying a Diploma in Fashion Design at City College in her hometown of Liverpool, UK, Andrea joined the costume department at the Liverpool Playhouse Repertory Theatre for 8 years working on national and international touring productions.

Andrea frequently toured the UK and Europe with West End shows and worked on additional projects including costume design for BAFTA award winning short film, Say Goodbye, for the London Film School. Andrea also worked on projects such as Blood Brothers, Medea, Educating Rita, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Camelot, Down and Out in Paris and London, and The Cherry Orchard, some of which went on to play in the West End and Broadway.

Andrea’s career developed into Film and Television and she worked as Head Production Buyer for 12 years with Mersey Television and Lime Pictures on award winning British soap operas, Brookside and Hollyoaks along with numerous special TV and film projects, including shows for the Disney channel.

Andrea is excited to bring the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy wardrobe department to life with her range of knowledge and experience gained over 25 years in theatre, film, television and live event production.
