Overview
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Co-Ordinator will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, diverse, and accessible food and beverage services throughout the event across sites. This includes liaising with vendors, managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring health, safety, and sustainability standards are met.
Provision is for staff and visitors alike.
- Vendor Management: Source, select, and coordinate with food and beverage suppliers/vendors both in house and external in line with event values and audience needs.
- Planning & Logistics: Develop and implement an F&B schedule across the event venues and days, including setup, service hours, and breakdown.
- Compliance: Ensure all vendors comply with local food safety regulations, licensing requirements, and health and hygiene standards.
- Sustainability: Work with onsite catering and vendors to reduce environmental impact through sustainable packaging, food waste management, and local sourcing.
- On-site Coordination: Oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations during the event, acting as the main point of contact for vendors.
- Budget Management: Assist in monitoring and managing the F&B budget, ensuring quality within cost constraints.
- Customer Experience: Ensure food services enhance the visitor experience, catering to a diverse and international audience, including dietary requirements.
- Collaboration: Liaise with production, venue, and volunteer teams to ensure smooth integration of F&B within the broader event logistics.
Essential
- Proven experience in food and beverage coordination, catering, or event management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a dynamic live-event environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Commitment to sustainability and inclusive practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours during the lead-up to and duration of the event.
Desirable
- Experience working in international, cultural, or large-scale arts events.
- Local knowledge of [Event City/Region] suppliers and food scene.
- First aid, health & safety, or food hygiene certification.
- Understanding of the values and mission of World Stage Design.
The Food & Beverage Coordinator will work closely with the Project Director and Leader and other designated members of the event organising team.
This role may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, especially during theevent period.
