Advanced Training Programme in Professional Acting (Arabic)

This study programme, launched by the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy, runs alongside numerous other departments and programmes hosted by the academy. It aims to attract those interested in exploring the art of acting in Arabic.

Participants in the programme had the opportunity to assess and improve their physical and vocal performance abilities through daily exercises designed to meet each participant's needs. The programme also aimed to create an environment that allowed participants to play and improvise, building their own scenes and relationships within the group.

Additionally, participants had the chance to learn about the most important knowledge in the history of global, Arab, Gulf, and Emirati theatre, studying and analysing selected models of the most significant writers and linking them to acting performance lessons. They were also given the opportunity to contemplate their acting projects and present them at the end of the programme.

This programme was open to Arabic speakers aged 18 to 35 from theatre groups, universities, and members of the Sharjah Capacity Development Foundation. It included a certified certificate from the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy. A day was dedicated to celebrating and graduating the participants, where the essence of what they learned in acting performance and production was showcased.
